Our little warrior

A story of courage, treatment, and a two-year-old who kept everyone dancing.

Jordy was just two years old when she was diagnosed with AML Leukemia. What followed was five months at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia — intensive treatment that led to a bone marrow transplant, and a birthday spent in a hospital bed instead of at home with her family.

But anyone who met Jordy during that time remembers the same thing: the music. While bravely undergoing treatment, she loved nothing more than dance parties in her room. You could always find a song playing and our little two-year-old dancing on her bed, instantly making the entire hospital staff want to dance right along with her.

She greeted every nurse, every doctor, every visitor the same way — with a smile and a simple question: "what's your name?" It was her way of turning a hospital room into a place full of friends.

The Jordy Foundation was born from that spirit. We believe that even in the hardest moments, joy matters — and that families facing a childhood cancer diagnosis deserve support, community, and a reason to dance.
